SOPHIE: How about this one?
ARTHUR: Karlie [Kloss] actually knew
how to work the lawnmower. She said
she did it for her father.
SOPHIE: She mowed the lawn at home for
her father?
ARTHUR: Yeah. Did you know I was the
first person to shoot her for Teen Vogue?
SOPHIE : When she first started?
ARTHUR: Yes. I remember she showed up
with her aunt at Teen Vogue, and
someone there said "I like this girl.
Give her a chance."
SOPHIE: So you did... And who are the
kids in this picture?
ARTHUR: They're Gucci Westman's kids.
She was the makeup artist on set.
SOPHIE: Grace Coddington was the
stylist. Is that her cat?
ARTHUR: No, but she knew how to get it
to do what she wanted. She has a way
of talking to them...
SOPHIE: So you rented this house on
Long Island? Did the surf board and
truck come with it?
ARTHUR: No, it belonged to a lifeguard
down the street.
SOPHIE: So you just asked if you could
borrow it?
ARTHUR: Yes, and he said, "sure, no
problem."
SOPHIE: Love that.
ARTHUR: Grace [Coddington] thinks this
is a wonderful picture.
SOPHIE: Right. Grace also likes to have a
lot going on. This is almost like one
of those scenes that you would have
seen out the window and snapped.
