In the years since, she has written for such outlets as Bloomberg, Cultured, Prior, Penta, and Travel + Leisure. In "Well Grounded," she writes about Mexico City–based architect Manuel Cervantes, who recently completed the James Perse boutique at Bal Harbour Shops. "The first time I experienced one of Manuel's designs was at the Canalan Beach Club within Riviera Nayarit's Mandarina resort. His architecture is always striking without ever competing with its setting," she says. 2 JAY CHESHES New York–based writer Jay Cheshes covers art, design, food, and travel for the Wall Street Journal Magazine, Smithsonian, and Robb Report, among other publications. "Versace remains inextricably—mythically, even—a quintessential South Florida brand," says Cheshes, who explores Versace's Miami legacy in "Forever Versace," which accompanies a photo essay by Doug Ordway. 3 AIMEE DAWSON Aimee Dawson is a British writer, editor, and speaker focused on art and culture. She previously worked as an editor at The Art Newspaper in London and co-produced the award-winning podcast The Week in Art. "It's always a joy to speak to an artist like Sebastian Marc Graham, for whom art is an inescapable way of life—every stop for coffee or trip to the beach is an opportunity to scribble down a moment or scene," says Dawson. 4 KATE DWYER Kate Dwyer is a writer based in Brooklyn. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, New York Magazine, the New Yorker, and many other outlets. In this issue, she interviews Etro Creative Director Marco de Vincenzo and National Book Award–nominated author Lauren Groff. 1 2 3 4 60 BAL HARBOUR
