While his editorial work pushes the boundaries of movement, expression, and power, his prime inspiration has always been to capture the emotion of his subjects. His work has been featured in numerous international publications, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Numero, Madame Figaro, and Elle. His latest Bal Harbour editorial sees him on location at The Ocean Club on Paradise Island, Bahamas, for "Sur la Plage." 2 LINDEN ELSTRAN Linden Elstran is a production designer and prop stylist based in New York. She tells stories with objects. For "About Last Night," shot by Adam Friedlander and styled by Katelyn Bernard, Elstran says, "I was imagining an accidental party at a friend's apartment after a night of dancing... but you make sure to bring out the fancy china." 3 SASHA FRERE-JONES Sasha Frere-Jones is a writer and musician from New York. His memoir, "Earlier," was released in October by Semiotext(e). He lives in the East Village with his wife, Heidi. "I loved talking to AZ [Alexandra Zsigmond] for this issue," he says. "We had a chance to talk shop and go off the record, which was fun." 4 KATE BERNARD Kate Bernard is a fashion editor and style consultant based in New York. When she's not at market appointments or behind her desk, she's advising private clients on everyday jewelry shopping. Bernard styled this issue's luminous jewelry feature, "About Last Night." Within Fall/Winter's "BHS Edit" she highlights the best of the season's accessories and ready-to-wear. 2 3 4 1 56 BAL HARBOUR
