I'm always super excited to see the new programming at places like the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Primary Projects, The Wolfsonian, Miami Film Festival, Kusama at PAMM, shows at Understory, vinyl at Dante's Hifi… the list is endless! A PLACE ON YOUR 2023-24 BUCKET LIST: Japan and Korea are next up. I've been looking forward to spending a few weeks diving into all the epic design and intentional ways of life. A BOOK YOU'D RECOMMEND: "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle changed my life in 2020. My father had recently passed away, and this book helped me reconnect and discover presence at a time when we all were feeling more alone and confused than ever. Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt perfectly reminds me of everything that's beautiful about Miami. It was the first fragrance I bought when I moved here, and I wore it non-stop. It's light and fresh with a hint of sweetness, and brings back the memories of my first few months living here. NADA, Untitled, and Scope are great for discovering emerging artists. Throughout the year, we host a range of fashion-focused and wellness-related fundraising events within the community. We've grown to be the country's largest back-to-school initiative, supplying 15,000 students each fall with necessities. A TRIP YOU'VE PLANNED FOR THE WINTER: In December, my husband and I will be traveling to Japan, one of our favorite destinations.
