The Tate Modern has sought his talent, as have Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion, Peter Marino, and Cameron Diaz. His art was included in the 2018 "Fashioned From Nature" exhibition at London's V&A Museum, where Morgan fused fashion illustration with virtual reality. "The most inspiring thing at the moment is the rise of how art and artificial intelligence can work together," he says. Yet for all of his openness and embracing of technology within a medium that began in the 16th century, each of the London-based artist's projects begin by hand. "I always start with a sketch in my sketchbook," says Morgan, who also serves as a visiting senior lecturer at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and works with the Fashion Illustration Drawing Awards (FIDA), the organization he founded to help creatives and fashion artists learn how to gain better opportunities as working artists. Throughout this issue, you'll find Morgan's evocative illustrations anchoring the title pages for each section. "The Bal Harbour team wanted to use alternative modes of communication to photography and gave me the freedom to be creative," he says. "I think the end results allow the viewer to use their imagination, rather than being influenced by a picture, giving them a chance to dream and look beyond the page." New York City–based Art Director Alexander Wolf developed the redesigned look of Bal Harbour by celebrating classical typography with a playful, modern touch. An emphasis was placed on visually presenting each story in a clean and orderly way to attract the discerning eye of the Bal Harbour reader. He has designed the pages of numerous publications, including DuJour, Town & Country, Elle Decor, Cultured, and L'Officiel, among others. Daphne Ascoli is a New York– and Miami–based creative director whose client list includes Jo Malone, LVMH, and Frederic Fekkai. Working with the Bal Harbour team, she designed the magazine's new logo. "The Bal Harbour Shops logo has soul, with its voluptuous curves and movement. It makes you smile. So connecting the branding of the magazine to its origin made the most sense." Ascoli also helped in developing the redesign seen throughout this issue.
