in this issue W Jens Mortensen is a New York City–based photographer specializing in editorial and commercial still life, short motion, and product photography. For this issue's Gift Guide portfolio, "Wrap it Up!" he used his tricks of the trade to make the products even more desirable. Mortensen grew up in Denmark, where he studied photography and graphic design at Copenhagen Technical College. His work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, T Magazine, The New Yorker, Departures, Condé Nast Traveler, Vanity Fair, and Town & Country, among many others. "On my wish list this year is taking some time off and spending a month or so in France, eating great food, visiting museums and galleries, taking long walks, and seeing old friends." ILLUSTRATOR IN RESIDENCE Contributing fashion editor Paul Frederick is a Brooklyn-based wardrobe stylist known for his timeless style and infectious energy. Whether he's on set or working behind the scenes to bring a client's vision to life, Frederick brings a unique blend of creativity and warmth that makes every project feel personal. His work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Time, People, V, and Vogue, amongst others. Frederick styled this issue's cover story, "Siren's Call." He enjoys traveling with friends and family, hanging out with his dog, Toby, and competing in amateur showjumping with his horse, Red. "Let's just say that a winning lottery ticket would add a few nice new horses to the family!" Wilfrid Depauw is a French graphic designer living in New York. As this issue's Illustrator in Residence, he sketched the title pages for each section, and also designed Bal Harbour Shops' first-ever Advent Calendar, which you'll find inserted in this issue. Depauw began his career in 2014, working for the skincare brand Fresh after graduating from London's Central Saint Martins. "[Being] an in-house designer and illustrator for a luxury brand provided me with the unique opportunity to grow my own universe and voice while helping build the global brand expression." "My holiday wish list is really my goal for 2025: Spending more time in my home country, especially in the summertime!" BALHAR B O U RSH O P S .CO M
