Taking up to three months to create this wearable masterpiece, Buccellati's goldsmiths use a combination of methods dating back to the Renaissance. "We conceived this timepiece as a true jewel; therefore, color was crucial for the bracelet's components and the dial, which displays our maison's logo and diamond embellishments," says Lucrezia Buccellati, the fourth-generation family member who serves on the creative design team and as vice president of client relations for Buccellati America. "Enameling, an age-old jewelry art, adds a vibrant contrast to gold and diamonds. Using color through enamel not only emphasizes the intricate details of the design but also brings a dynamic, luxurious dimension to the watch, making it a standout piece in Buccellati's jewelry timepiece collection." The watch, powered by a Swiss quartz movement, also features the brand's noted Tulle handwork. "This age-old method transforms gold into intricate, lace-like designs, mirroring the delicate texture of tulle," says Buccellati. "It was first developed by our founder, my great grandfather Mario Buccellati, and inspired by the intricate laces and tulle used in women's fashion. Over the past century, this signature workmanship has further evolved, becoming a defining feature across a variety of Buccellati collections, including earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, and now watches." While flowers are ephemeral, Buccellati's dazzling iteration is always in bloom. B jewel Buccellati's Tulle watch is a technicolor treasure.
