ummer may have been hot—but fall at Bal Harbour Shops is shaping up to be unforgettably cool. This November, we celebrate our diamond anniversary—six dazzling decades since founder Stanley Whitman opened the doors to his dream, a shopping destination that quickly became Miami's fashion mecca. To mark the milestone, we rolled out a special campaign, An Affair to Remember, conceived by our own Shana Kaufman, director of brand media and content. Look for the short film across our digital channels; it beautifully captures the enduring bond between Bal Harbour Shops and you, our devoted clientele. October also brings a glow of its own—pink, to be exact. We have partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide, to light up the Shops for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Expect bold pink activations, from Silvia Tcherassi's limited-edition fuchsia Sofia bag to an inspiring courtyard conversation with the designer herself. In this issue, you'll also find a BCRF timeline, a look at brands that have designed for the cause—like Ralph Lauren's iconic Pink Pony—and beauty products that give back. We even went all pink on one of our BHS Edit pages. And in a rare conversation, I sat down with William P. Lauder at Estée Lauder's Manhattan headquarters to discuss the legacy of the company that founded BCRF. Another highlight: my conversation with Brunello Cucinelli. Often called fashion's philosopher, he reminded me why slowing down and finding dignity and beauty in everyday life is more important than ever. His brand is more than a label: it's a way of seeing and living. And because travel is always calling, we're making "On The Fly"—first introduced in our summer Special Travel Edition—a new staple. Think of it as your insider's guide to where to go and what to do next. Each issue will spotlight travel trends, the newest hotels, and even the secret spots top travel advisors keep for themselves when they're off duty. Here's to a season of style, substance, and celebration. S A beach cover for fall?
