C O U R T E S Y O F TA N V I C H H E DA , B R E N DA D Í A Z D E L A V EG A , S C OT T S H A P I R O Brenda Díaz de la Vega has spent more than two decades at the forefront of luxury, fashion, and culture, bringing a cross- cultural perspective to storytelling. She began her career at Chanel, where she oversaw public relations in Mexico before moving into editorial leadership as editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar en Español and L'OFFICIEL México. She later joined the Prada Group, directing communications for Prada and Miu Miu across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Since relocating to Miami in 2022, Díaz de la Vega has continued to consult for luxury houses and publications, bringing her editorial eye and brand expertise to projects that connect creativity, commerce, and culture. For her first contribution to Bal Harbour, Díaz de la Vega interviewed Santiago- based artist Ana Bonamico, who will be installing a new work in Bal Harbour Village during Miami Art Week. "Art Basel is always one of Miami's most anticipated cultural weeks. Getting to know Ana for this feature only deepened that excitement. I look forward to experiencing her work—not just to see it, but to feel it, as she would prefer." Scott Shapiro is a New York–based fashion stylist whose editorial clients include Allure, Cero, Cultured, and The Greatest Magazine, among others. For his first collaboration with Bal Harbour, Shapiro styled the cover story, "You're Welcome," styling model Tianna St. Louis. "While I always love exploring modern takes on classic elegance, it was exciting to juxtapose the approaching winter season with vibrant, energetic fashion." Tanvi Chheda is an LA–based freelance writer who specializes in luxury lifestyle content with a focus on travel, arts, culture, and food. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and AFAR, among others. For this issue's "3-2-1," Chheda visited Mexico City. "Even though I've visited a few times, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. It's sprawling, colorful, lively, unpretentious. Like all cities, there's the ancient and the modern coexisting side by side. And who doesn't travel to eat? The delicious food will draw you back again and again." in this issue BALHAR B O U RSH O P S .CO M
