eturning to Taormina this past July reminded me of when I first fell in love with Dolce & Gabbana Fine Jewelry. Fourteen years earlier, I arrived at the San Domenico Palace for the inaugural Alta Moda show with absolutely no idea what awaited me. Even after decades in fashion, I assumed I was attending another couture presentation. Instead, I found myself discovering an entire creative universe. Returning this summer was a true full-circle moment. Much has changed since 2012; Taormina has evolved into one of Europe's most celebrated luxury destinations, while the San Domenico Palace has been beautifully restored into one of Italy's great hotels.
