Contributors Our contributors share which book they have read lately... TIERNEY GEARON "The Missing Piece by Shel Silverstein. I read it with my six-year-old son at night to teach him anything is possible when you believe in yourself!" One of the world's sought-after beauty and style experts, Mary Alice Stephenson is highly regarded as the most well-versed and knowledgeable commentators covering the latest trends in fashion. Throughout her career, Stephenson has worked as fashion editor and fashion director for legendary fashion magazines, such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Today, she serves as contributing fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar and continues to be responsible for conceptualizing and styling some of the magazine's iconic and award-winning covers, fashion and beauty stories. MARY ALICE STEPHENSON "Oh my gosh, the only books I read are children's books with my eight-year-old! We just finished Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism." Self-taught photographer Tierney Gearon exploded onto the art scene in 2001 with Charles Saatchi's "I am a Camera" exhibition in London. Since her controversial debut, Gearon has been pushing the envelope of contemporary photography. Currently she's working on a compilation of family images taken over 18 years and a series of children's books to be published in the next year. Her editorial credits include W magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Details and Dazed and Confused. Currently she lives in Los Angeles with her four children. KATE BETTS CAMERON KRONE "I just finished Jennifer Egan's book A Visit From The Goon Squad, which won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction last year and it is amazing! I couldn't put it down (partially why my Tomas Maier piece was slightly delayed!)" Kate Betts is a contributing editor at Time magazine and, until 2009, was also the editor of Time Style & Design, a special supplement to the magazine. Previously, Betts was the editor in chief of Harper's Bazaar and the fashion news director of Vogue. She is the author of the book Everyday Icon: Michelle Obama and the Power of Style. 28 BAL HARBOUR "The last book I read was Steve Jobs biography written by Walter Isaakson. It was so factual that I'm guessing Walter knew more about Steve's life than Steve did!" After graduating from college, Cameron Krone moved to New York where he started his career in the equipment room at Milk Studios assisting Ben Watts, Jason Kibbler and Cass Bird. Since setting off on his own, Krone's work has appeared in V Man, Details and Elle China. His client list includes Yves Saint Laurent, Lancome, Polo and Ralph Lauren. STEPHENSON: CAMERON KRONE
